Nissan Smart Key Not Working

After returning from the garage my smart key for my nissan qashqai is not working properly.

I replaced the battery in the remote but it still is not getting recognized. After following instructions to the t upteen times two different days for over a hour even without the lights coming on i completed the instructions it did not work. When i lock the car with the remote the windows used to close automatically but they no longer do that. The only way to start the car is to put the fob into the port on the left side of the steering wheel.
